This trial will consider how the test medicine is taken up by the body when taken by mouth at different dose levels. Different dose levels of the test medicine have been given to people previously.

Payment

£1,100 - £1,350 plus travel allowance

Volunteer Profile

  • Healthy adults aged 18 - 55
  • Not smoked/had any nicotine in the last 12 months
  • BMI between 18 - 32

Screening visit 1

1st, 2nd or 5th February

An appointment with a doctor & nurse lasting up to 4 hours

Screening visit 2

9th, 10th or 11th February

An appointment with a doctor & nurse lasting up to 4 hours

Residential visit

22nd - 27th February

A 5 night stay in our unit

Two return visits

1st & 3rd March

Appointments with a doctor & nurse each lasting around 1 hour

Two additional return visits

These appointments may not be necessary. The dates will be confirmed to you nearer the time.

Follow up visit

8th March

Appointment with a doctor & nurse lasting around 30 minutes

Please make sure you are available on all dates before applying

You must not:

  • Have taken part in a clinical trial within the past three months
  • Have donated blood in the three months before the start of the trial
  • Be on a course of medication if considering this trial
