This study is to look at how well a new test medicine is taken up by the body when given by injection.
Payment
£1,070 plus 3 or 4 travel allowances
Volunteer Profile
- Males and postmenopausal or surgically sterile Females
- Aged 65 – 80
- BMI 19 – 31
- Suitable for vegetarians
- Must not have smoked in last 6 months
Schedule information
Screening visit
Wednesday 21st April, Tuesday 27th April or Monday 3rd May
An appointment with a doctor & nurse lasting approx. 4 hours
Pre-admission visit (AM)
Friday 14th May
A morning visit to our clinic
Residential visit - admission am, discharge am
Saturday 15th May - Tuesday 18th May
A 3 night stay in our unit
Follow up call or visit
Friday 21st May
An appointment or telephone appointment with a doctor & nurse lasting around an hour
Please make sure you are available on all dates before applying
You must not:
- Have taken part in a clinical trial within the past three months
- Have donated blood in the three months before the start of the trial
- Be on a course of medication if considering this trial
