The staff at the clinic are friendly and it’s a great atmosphere in there during your stay.

When the Quotient Sciences advert popped up on my social media feeds, I was a little hesitant…. I had questions around the safety aspect, but it also sounded too good to be true….

However, my interest was piqued, and my application submitted!

My first trial was a short one and I have never looked back.

You are closely monitored and looked after throughout your stay by medical staff and are fully informed before you start on any possible side effects relating to the test medicine.

The website is easy to use and there’s a whole variety of different trials to choose from, all varying lengths of time.

The staff at the clinic are friendly and it’s a great atmosphere in there during your stay. You have quite a bit of spare time, however with great Wi-Fi for personal use, a pool table, games consoles, Sky TV, table tennis and of course the famous bingo and quiz sessions, time really does fly!

Some people bring in their work, others choose to chill on their beds or in the lounges.

I can’t fault the menu - there’s a good choice of homecooked meals and I have always enjoyed the generous portions of food (especially when someone else is cooking it with no pots too wash either!)

Ample free parking is available if you come by car and the bus stop is only down the road from the clinic.

I work in the NHS and appreciate the need for clinical trials for both new and current drugs, and I am proud to be a part of that.

I feel lucky I am healthy and eligible to participate.

Don’t worry about being new, there is always experienced volunteers to offer help and advice.

I’d recommend taking part in a short stay trial first to see if you enjoy the experience as much as I do.
