This study is to look at how the test medicine is taken up by the body when taken by mouth.

Payment

£3,000 plus 14 travel allowances

Volunteer Profile

  • Males and post-menopausal or surgically sterile Females
  • Aged 18 – 55
  • BMI 18 – 32
  • This study is not suitable for anyone following a vegetarian diet
  • No smoking 7 days prior to screening or on site during the study

Screening visit

Friday 25th or Tuesday 29th June

An appointment with a doctor & nurse lasting approx. 4 hours

Pre-admission visit (AM)

Wednesday 21st July

A morning visit to our clinic

Residential visit 1 - admission am, discharge am

Thursday 22nd - Monday 26th July

A 4 night stay in our unit

5 Return Visits

Wednesday 28th, Friday 30th, Saturday 31st July and Tuesday 3rd and Saturday 7th August

Appointments with a doctor & nurse, each lasting around an hour

Thursday 12th - Monday 16th August

A 4 night stay in our unit

5 Return Visits

Wednesday 18th, Friday 20th, Saturday 21st, Tuesday 24th and Saturday 28th August

A telephone appointment with a doctor & nurse lasting around an hour

Please make sure you are available on all dates before applying

You must not:

  • Have taken part in a clinical trial within the past three months
  • Have donated blood in the three months before the start of the trial
  • Be on a course of medication if considering this trial
