This study is to look at how the test medicine is taken up by the body when taken by mouth tablet compared with when it is given by liquid.

Payment

£2,000 plus 6 travel allowances

Volunteer Profile

  • Healthy males
  • Aged 18 - 55
  • BMI 18 – 30
  • Not smoked in the last 12 months
  • This study is not suitable for anyone following a vegetarian diet

Screening visit

Thursday 6th, Tuesday 11th or Wednesday 12th May

An appointment with a doctor & nurse lasting approx. 4 hours

Pre-admission visit 1 (AM)

Thursday 27th May

A visit to our clinic

Residential visit 1 - admission am, discharge

Friday 28th May - Tuesday 1st June

A 4 night stay in our unit

Pre-admission visit 2 (AM)

Saturday 10th July

A visit to our clinic

Residential visit 2 - admission am, discharge

Sunday 11th July - Thursday 15th July

A 4 night stay in our unit

Follow up Visit

Monday 19th July

An appointment with a doctor & nurse lasting around an hour

Please make sure you are available on all dates before applying

You must not:

  • Have taken part in a clinical trial within the past three months
  • Have donated blood in the three months before the start of the trial
  • Be on a course of medication if considering this trial
