This trial will compare how the test medicine, which has been taken by people before and is already marketed in a different form, is taken up by the body when given by mouth and/or an injection.

Payment

£3,390 plus travel allowances

Volunteer Profile

  • Healthy adults aged 18 - 65
  • Non smokers and those who smoke less than 10 cigarettes a day.
  • BMI between 18.5 - 30

Please note: There will be a fixed part payment paid after the third residential visit of this study. Although smokers are invited to join this trial, smoking will not be permitted on site during the study.

An appointment with a doctor & nurse lasting up to 4 hours

Residential visit 1

Thursday 4th - Thursday 11th April

A 7 night stay in our unit

Residential visit 2

Thursday 18th - Monday 22nd April

A 4 night stay in our unit

Residential visit 3

Saturday 4th - Wednesday 8th May

A 4 night stay in our unit

Residential visit 4

Tuesday 21st - Saturday 25th May

A 4 night stay in our unit

Residential visit 5

Friday 7th - Tuesday 11th June

A 4 night stay in our unit

Follow-up visit

Friday 5th July

An appointment with a doctor & nurse lasting around 30 minutes

You must not:

  • Have taken part in a clinical trial within the past three months
  • Have donated blood in the three months before the start of the trial
  • Be on a course of medication if considering this trial
