For each trial that you participate in, you will receive compensation for your time and inconvenience, ranging from £200 - £3000.

For Example:

A two-day trial:

Screening visit, 3 day/2 night stay and a follow-up visit - £365-£425

A two-week, residential trial:

Screening visit, 15 day/14 night stay and a follow-up visit - £1700-£1750

As these allowances are to compensate you for your time and inconvenience, they are exempt from tax and don't have to be declared as earnings if you are unemployed, so will not affect your benefits. The amount depends on the length of the trial and is reviewed by an Independent Ethics Committee who agrees the amount.

We also pay travel costs to and from the clinic.
